When will my order ship?
Most off the shelf, stock products ship
within 3 to 7 business days. This does not include weekends and holidays.
Choosing express shipping does not express the 3 to 7 business days, just the
shipping time. Email to see if your items ordered can be shipped sooner IF your
event is within a week or two. If you have not heard from us within 14 days
after you placed your order, please contact us. You may have not entered
our email address as a valid email to receive and your spam blockers may be
deleting our messages or the shipping tracking email. We encourage
you to order 6 to 8 weeks before your event or even more time. We can't
guarantee that your items will arrive before your event. We will do our
best, but can't guarantee it.
Escape Concepts is the sole owner of the information collected on
this site. We will not sell, share, nor rent this information to others. Your
information will be protected on and off line. This web site may contain links
to other sites. Escape Concepts is not responsible for privacy practices of
these sites. Please review their privacy policies. Occasionally, we offer
specials or information on new products. You have the option of not receiving
these types of communications.
No changes can be made to
orders once to orders are confirmed.
orders are processed immediately upon receipt (within 24 hours). If you want to
cancel an order and it has been processed, it will be subject to a 10%
cancellation fee. If your order has been processed it will be treated as a
return. Personalized orders cannot be cancelled if your order has been sent to
the printers, engravers, etc.
Payments must be made in full,
including shipping, prior to the shipments of any order. Escape Concepts accepts
Visa, Master Card, American Express, checks or money orders. We do
not accept Purchase Orders.
Exchanges, and Refunds
satisfaction is Escape Concepts' goal. All of our handmade products will have
slight variations from batch to batch, but the quality will not vary. All orders
will be insured against any shipping damages, when shipped via FedEx or UPS. If
you choose USPS, they are not insured nor trackable and you assume
responsibility for shipping damages and loss. If products are damaged in
shipping via FedEx or UPS, you must notify the shipping agent within 24 hours of
receipt and Escape Concepts to make any claims. Escape Concepts will be glad to
exchange any damaged items if the damaged items are due to Escape Concepts'
packaging and not shipper damage.
You must contact Escape Concepts for return
authorization within 3 days of delivery of products. For returns, all items must
be shipped to Escape Concepts with prior approval, within 5 business days, in
the original packaging. Please email us or call us for return authorization.
Escape Concepts reserves the right to refuse returns that are not delivered
within 7 business days and with no return authorization. If an item is returned
without authorization, you might not get it back and you might not receive a
refund. If you are dissatisfied with any products, other than
personalized, food, bath & body, perishable, special orders, and large
orders (orders over $200), you may return unopened, unused items for a refund,
less shipping related costs and may incur a 20% restocking fee , and opened,
unused products for 50% of retail costs less shipping related costs, with prior
approval. If you received free shipping, you will pay the original shipping
costs plus the restocking fees. Restocking fees will depend if it is assessed by
a vendor/distributor that shipped directly to our customer and/or if your order
was a rush order. We usually do not pass the rush fees onto customers, but
if you return an item that originally had a rush fee and was not charged the
fee, you will not receive it in the refund. These items must be in
original condition. You must package them in a manner to avoid shipping damage.
If you are unsure about an item, contact us before ordering to see if it is a
special order, etc. Special orders would include items that are painted, scented
to your specifications, etc. Please call or email if you have questions. We
encourage you to order samples before placing a large order just to make sure
the product is what you are looking for. Absolutely no returns or exchanges
after 3 weeks of receipt, no matter what the circumstances.
Product Color/Shade Variations
Due to the fact that most of our products are made in small lots
there may be color shade variations. We do not guarantee color matching to
products that you already have. Also, every monitor will show color differently,
again, we can't guarantee that the shades will match the color shades on your
monitor. For example, it may look dark blue on your monitor, but may be a medium
blue. If something is color critical, order 1. This applies to all products,
especially, soaps, candies, and candles. This also applies to chocolates,
especailly white chocolate. White chocolate is not necessarily a bright white.
It ranges in shades from bright white to ivory. So, if you don't like the color,
regular return/exchange policy applies.
matter how pure or gentle a product is, some people may be allergic to one or
more of the ingredients. Should any allergic reaction occur, discontinue use.
Soaps, bubble bath, fizzies, bath soaks, potpourris, candles, detergents,
lotions, and some oils are for external use only.
Most in stock orders will be filled within 3 to 7 business
days and then shipped USPS or FedEx or UPS ground. Out of stock items will be
filled once restocked or cancelled if discontinued or will take over 2 weeks to
restock, unless discussed and approved by both parties and shipped USPS or FedEx
or UPS ground, unless customer request a different shipping method, in which
customer will pay all shipping charges. Most of the personalized items will take
an average of 1 to 4 weeks. It is best to place orders for weddings and parties
at least 6 weeks prior to the event. Please check with EC if a lead time is not
posted on the product you are interested in if you are on a tight
schedule. Please note that shipping delays can occur if there is a natural
disaster, weather delays, security inspections delays, unsafe delivery
conditions signature requirements or incorrect addresses. This can be on
express or ground services. These delays are not customary, but can
occur. Escape Concepts nor shipping companies will issue shipping refunds
due to these delays on express shipments, which has a guaranteed delivery
date. Ground shipments can take up to 10 business days. Ground is
NOT a guaranteed delivery service, no consideration for shipping refunds will be
given if you were expecting your package on a certain day and it does not arrive
on that day via ground service.
All product orders over $300 will receive
free US ground shipping up to $50. If you request a different shipping method
other than ground, Escape Concepts does not pay the shipping costs. If you
ordered chocolate , there is a mandatory warm weather shipper from the months of
April through October. For all chocolates, your shipment must go at least
3 day. This is because the chocolates will melt!
Once we give your order to the shipper is becomes

provide a shipping address where there is someone to receive the package.
We can't control the shipping companies and we are not employed by them.
If a driver thinks that it is safe to leave a package without a signature of the
customer, then they will. So if you don't want to assume the
responsibility of stolen packages, etc., please provide an address where there
is someone to receive the package, such as work, or a neighbor etc. If you
want home delivery with a signature required, there is a $2 charge.

International Shipping Policy
The purchaser is
responsible for any and all additional fees that may be charged by the selected
shipping carrier. These may include (but are not limited to) duties, taxes,
customs charges, brokerage charges and other fees. The purchaser should contact
their local customs office before ordering to understand these charges. The
purchaser is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and
regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Escape Concepts
will include an invoice for the actual value of the shipment in order to comply
with importing laws and regulations. Escape Concepts reserves the right to
charge the purchaser's credit card if the shipping carrier is unable to collect
payment from the purchaser.
We are not responsible for incorrect addresses. The customer
is responsible. It is your responsibility to give us complete and correct
addresses. If an address correction is necessary, you will be charged $10
for the correction for each box. The shipping services charge for all
address corrections, whether it is suite number down to street directions (N, W,
E, S) Any changes that they have to make that is different from the ship
to address that you provide, it will be a charge, so please make sure that you

Sales Tax information
North Carolina (NC) shipping addresses
must pay applicable state and local sales taxes. There is no sales tax on gift
certificates. If you are ordering Internationally, you are responsible for
duties and taxes imposed. If you don't pay them and they send us a
notification, we will file a claim against you and charge your credit card
for the amount.
Rush orders may be subject to a rush fee, due to added
fees incurred in order to complete the order. Rush items are not returnable
unless damaged, then they will be exchanged only.
We attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Escape
Concepts does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this
site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product
offered by this site itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return
it in unused condition. Because there can be no errors in
personalized printing, telephone conversations are discouraged and are
not binding. Communications should be sent via email so there is a
written record. If there is an error in printing and there is no written
record, Escape Concepts is not responsible for reprinting. Customer would
be responsible for the cost. The Customer is solely responsible for
placing an order according to the customer's needs.
Orders are not accepted. Except where noted otherwise, the Sales Price
displayed for products on our website represents the price listed on the product
itself unless there are quantity pricing, where pricing is based on quantity and
will be listed in drop down list boxes. No item is $0. With
respect to items sold by Escape Concepts, we cannot confirm the price of an item
until you order; however, we do NOT charge your credit card until after your
order has entered the shipping process. Despite our best efforts, a small number
of the items in our site may be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will
do one of the following:
